This is the official website of outstanding guitarist and singer songwriter James G Creighton.

Starting his musical career as a founder member of the Reeferbilly combo "The Shakin' Pyramids". Signed by Virgin Records in 1980, James G. Creighton and his cohorts featured in the "Jock n Roll" documentary hosted by B. A. Robertson and were partly responsible for the Neo-Rockabilly scene of the 1980s. They also collaborated with the influential musicians Lonnie Donegan and Kirsty MacColl.

After releasing a few singles, albums and various international tours the band parted company in 1983, however their music still has a strong cult like following and is enjoyed all over the world.

James G Creighton went onto pursue a solo career playing sessions with various musicians including The Pretenders, The River Detectives, Nigel Dixon and Chris Isaak.

More recently he has been absorbed in his roots with the long awaited release of his new album Big Train (2018). His new album was enthusiastically received and was given great reviews from his fans around the world.

James G Creighton also has two self penned rockabilly inspired albums released on Raucous Records under his belt. James G Creighton (2011) and Make Some Noise(2013).

His recent live shows have included gigs in Finland, Holland, Russia, Italy, Sweden, USA and throughout the UK.

He has continued to tour the world. Performing alongside legendary rockabilly band "The Jets", talented Australian Teddy Boy band "The Lincolns" also rocking in Russia with "The Big Livers" and cookin' it up Italian style with internationally renowned rockabilly's "The Di Maggio Connection".

He continues to work on collaborations, new material and recordings. With more performances in the pipeline Creighton is showing no signs of slowing up.
